Step 2: Your Crush Opens the Link
When your crush opens the link, they see a page that tells them someone has a crush on them. The page does not reveal who sent it โ not even a hint.
They see a simple message: someone who knows them has a secret crush and wants to find out if the feeling is mutual. If they think they know who it is, they can enter a name. If they guess wrong, the sender will never know what name they guessed.
This last part matters โ it removes the pressure from their side too. They are not committing to anything by guessing. They are just taking a low-stakes shot at finding out something interesting.
Step 3: They Enter a Name
If your crush thinks of you when they see the invitation โ which would mean you were already on their mind โ they will type your name.
The system checks whether that name matches what you entered. The match is not case-sensitive and handles small typos, so "Alex" and "alex" are treated as the same.
Step 4: A Match โ What Happens Next
If they guessed your name correctly, both of you receive an email notification. The email tells you that you have a match โ meaning someone opened your link and correctly guessed who sent it.
Your crush gets a notification too, confirming that they guessed correctly. At this point you both know: the feeling is mutual. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.
Both people get the same information at the same time. Nobody is left wondering.
If They Guess Wrong โ or Do Not Guess at All
If your crush enters a different name, they get a message saying the guess was incorrect. Your name is never revealed. They do not find out who sent the link.
If they open the link but do not enter any name, the same applies. You stay anonymous. The invitation was opened โ you get a notification about that โ but no identity is revealed.
